Cecilia De Zavala Roaud y Paz Soldan #160 San Isidro Lima 27 Peru |
Tuesday, February 3, 2009Patti,I am very sorry for my inability to keep in touch with you since I arrived in Nigeria. The reason is that I was knocked down by malaria and typhoid fever shortly on arrival and I was admitted in the hospital for a period of one week. Shortly after recovering from my own sickness I had to make arrangement for my mother's eye operation which was carried out successfully last week. Right now, she is recovering and I am doing the best I can to make sure she is o.k. before I return to Peru in the first week of next month. However, I owe the recovery of my mother's sight to your generosity and kindness. And thanks for coming to my aid at a time when I have lost all hope. It is my prayer that the lord who is able to do much more than we can ever ask or imagine bless and reward you abundantly now and always. I told my mother about you and about the financial assistance you have rendered towards making sure that her eye operation was carried out and she was very happy and she ask me to express her gratitude and appreciation to you on her behalf. She is praying daily for you. May the lord bless you once more as I remain ever grateful to you. Ave! Daniel Igono Peru |
